Hello Long Valley Families!

We know that this Spring has been tough on everyone, but it has been especially hard on our kids as the things they love have been closed, cancelled, or postponed indefinitely.

As expected, we’ve been fielding a large number of questions from our Long Valley players around tryouts for fall Travel and Premier teams, given our recent merger announcement, and the possible partial opening of fields beginning 06/22. This email is intended to provide guidance for our Long Valley parents in registering for the new, combined entity moving forward.

Step 1 in our transformation for the Fall soccer season:

Act Now! Please use the Register Here link below to register your son or daughter for the age-appropriate Travel or Premier program that you desire for the Fall. This will keep you up to date in a more timely manner on Travel soccer, and will help us anticipate volume at each age group for team formation.

As opposed to prior years, you now have additional choices to register your son or daughter. Our merger now gives each player the opportunity to play at either the Premier level (EDP) or the Travel level (MCYSA) that many of our players have been accustomed to.

Travel
$825 for 7v7 (U9-U10) and $885 for all other age groups (U-11 and up) divided into two payments.

Premier
$1,560 for 7v7 (U9-U10) and $1,695 for all other age groups (U-11 and up) divided into three payments.

Currently we are unable to facilitate a formal tryout due to restrictions on large gatherings and organized sports. Once we are cleared by the state and municipalities (hopefully for the end of June), we will look to schedule a series of live evaluations where our professional trainers and the joint LVU/WMSC board members can determine appropriate placement for each player.

There is no need for you to submit tryout videos for placement on a Travel or Premier teams at this time.

Please note that the website you will register on is a new website driven by changes coming from NJYS and affects all Long Valley, Chester, and Mendham families. You will need to create a new account during registration, but the overall process of player registration should be smoother from here on out. Thank you for your understanding and your patience.
